BIO
Tony Sernack is a freelance photographer living in Sydney.
He has shot a number of assignments for the New York Times and International Herald Tribune as well as other publications and magazines. While his photographic interests span a wide gamut of subject matter Tony’s strong leaning is to reportage and capturing the key elements of a situation that tell the story.
His book “A World of People” was published in 2012 and he has had several exhibitions of his work. In 2015 his book “One Week Before” documented New Year celebrations in the Kathmandu Valley, one week before a devastating earthquake struck Nepal taking over 9000 lives. All proceeds from the book went to rebuilding efforts through the Australian Himalayan Foundation.
Tony also had a long career in the corporate world as an executive and board director.
Currently he is largely focused on photographing and writing travel related stories.
